Application and Integrated Economic Analysis of On-load
Capacity Regulating Transformer

Abstract: The applicable range of on-load capacity regulating transformer is given according to its running characteristics and
structure, and the capacity regulating principle is analyzed. Integrated economic and application analyses of SZ11 -T type
on-load capacity regulating transformers are performed pared mon S11 type distribution transformers, including
annual operation expense, payback period of investment, and total owning cost. Considering the practical application of 10 kV
distribution transformers, two application schemes for the on-load capacity regulating transformer are proposed. In addition,
some suggestions are offered to improve the measurement precision of the capacity regulating transformers
