Abstract:Using the orthogonal experimental design, aim at split blade diameter ratio,
circumferential offsetting,wrapping angle of blade and thickness of blade outlet edge, all of
which affects the performance of centrifugal pump. Orthogonal scheme of four factors and three
levels was designed, and the influence of geometrical parameters on the characteristics was
studied. Numerical simulation on the impeller, through testing to prehensive analysis
parison, the bination of parameters obtained. The optimal parameter
combination is not in the original design, according to results of the analysis re-design the impeller,
so as to achieve the impeller optimization design.
