呼吸道病毒是指一大类以呼吸道为入侵门户,能侵犯呼吸道黏膜上皮细胞,引起呼吸道局部病变或呼吸道外组织器官病变的病毒。
Introduction
Respiratory viruses can infect any age group although the plications of such infection are often restricted to children and the elderly.
These viruses are monly transmitted by airborne droplets or nasal secretions and can lead to a wide spectrum of illness.
Many of these viruses are seasonal in their activity and tend to circulate at higher levels during the winter months.
Categories of Respiratory  Viruses
Orthomyxoviridae 流感病毒
Paramyxoviridae 副流感病毒、呼吸道合胞病毒、麻疹病毒、腮腺炎病毒
Others 腺病毒、风疹病毒、鼻病毒、冠状病毒、呼肠病毒
Orthomyxoviruses
对人或某些动物细胞表面的粘蛋白有
亲和性。
有包膜。
具有分节段RNA基因组。
只有流行性感冒病毒,简称流感病毒
(Influenza Virus)一个种。

流行性感冒病毒,简称流感病毒,有甲、乙、丙三型,其中,甲型流感病毒是反复流行最为频繁和引起流感全球流行的重要病原体。
