由国际摄影测量与遥感协会(ISPRS)主办的“Global Spatial Grid and Cloud-based Services (GSG-CBS)”学术研讨会将于2013年11月11~12日在江苏徐州举行。此次会议将吸引来自国内外关于全球空间格网、数字地球、地理并行计算、Web-GIS等领域的学者参加。该次会议的成功举办将提升中国矿业大学在该领域国内学术知名度及影响力。然而,由于地处内陆,徐州的城市并不为外地来者所熟知,且整座城市的国际接待服务能力不高,鲜有英文的介绍及资料。地图是一个城市对应新来者最重要信息资料。为了推动此次国际会议更好地进行,使得外国参会人员既能方便地参加各种活动又能可领略徐州的风采,需要为此次国际会议专门定制一种地图服务。
ESRI的ArcGIS Server提供了一种WebGIS应用的解决方案。通过它可实现国际会议的地图服务。本文将利用ArcGIS Server进行国际会议有关的地图服务发布。研究工作主要有:1)地图服务数据的获取、处理与入库;2)基于ArcGIS Server的国际地图服务系统的设计、实现与成果展示。

ABSTRACT
The Global Spatial Grid and Cloud-based Services(GSG-CBS) academic conference will be held from 11 November to 12 November in Xuzhou, Jiangsu. The host of this meeting is The international association of photogrammetry and remote sensing (ISPRS) and anizer is China University of Mining and Technology. The experts who focus on global space grid, digital earth, geographic puting, WebGIS and so on, will be attracted to attend this event. The ess of this meeting will promote the awareness and influence of CUMT. But Xuzhou, which is located in the island, is not well-known for the gusts from other places. In addition, the ability of serving international events is not so high and there can hardly see the introduction and data. Map is the most important information source of a new outsider. To hold this meeting essfully, make participants attend the meeting conveniently and have a good impression of Xuzhou, we need provide map service which can serve this international meeting.
The ArcGIS Server from ESRI can provide solution based on WebGIS. We can make the map service for international meeting according to it. This passage will use ArcGIS Server to publish the map service related to international service. The main research are as follows:
1)We will find out what kind of data which will be needed in map service, and then we will see where they can be obtained , how could it be dealt with and how could it be put into database.
