Emily Dickinson was good at love poems, in which the words were lucid and lively, The images rich, the contents profound. Many of her love poems take on the traits of her poems and indicate a profound tragic consciousness, Such sad consciousness originates from her own characteristic tragic and her romantic poems show her desire for love, loss in love and tribulation in love. Many scholars emphasized her tragic consciousness and gave pity to her experience. In fact, her experience of love indicates many valuable spirits. In order to declare this kind of spirit and let people know the woman poet's real greatness, this paper showed the spirit of love clearly in the form of her inflexibility, immutability and connotation for love in her romantic poems. Such spirit is really rare mendable in capitalistic society which is full of flesh and blood.
