Preface
This is a research report of the project, entitled “A Pilot Study for Investigation of Novel Methods to Harvest Solar Energy from Asphalt Pavements.” The primary objective was to generate different approaches to capture solar energy from asphalt pavements with Rhode Island aggregates and environments.
The research project was conducted at the University of Rhode Island (URI) under the agreement to the Korea Institute of Construction Technology (KICT). Prof. Kyungsuk Kim at Brown University, Prof. Saeja Kim at University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth, and Prof. Sze Yang at URI
