Abstract Based on investigation and analysis of characteristics of urban canal water pollution suspended biofilm reactor was
designed with natural aeration as major circular biofilm colonization which has little biofilm colonization time and abundant
anism. Continuous experiment was done to simulate canal water when biofilm was mature. Experiment results showed
,
high removal efficiency of COD as well as nitrogen and phosphorus when influent water load consistence was low which can be
applied to treatment of urban canal water.
