摘要:
通过对英语专业毕业生就业情况和目前我国现有课程的制约条件的了解与分析,阐明了我国的课程设置需要进一步的改善。调查显示,传统英语专业人才培养计划所培养的学生,由于只具备单一的英语技能,已经不能满足用人单位的需要。由于经济全球化的影响,自我国加入WTO以来,中外合资、外商独资等外向型经济企业不断涌现,对具有较强的外语交际能力,掌握一般商务外贸运作指示、熟悉计算机等现代化办公设备的商务英语人才需求尤为迫切。因此,对于英语专业的课程设置应进行进一步的改善,着重培养具有较全面的商务基础知识和实际运用英语语言能力的精英语、懂经贸、能够使用多种现代化办公设备的“专门用途英语”人才,进而开设更多与商务知识相关的课程。

Introduction
With the accession of China to WTO, the number of enterprises engaged in foreign trade increases a lot, which will inevitably result in the lack of international trade and business professionals, especially those with solid English language skills, proficiency munication skills, but also familiar with international trade knowledge and the norms. Nowadays, the enterprises which have the right to operate import and export business are about 36 000 in China. But people who obtain qualification certificates of business are less than 10 million, most important of which is that too few people understand the business English. In general panies engaged in foreign trade business should have several or even hundreds of people to understand the business English of foreign trade. This shows that there is a large gap in the need of professionals on business English.
At present, there are about 1,500 people engaged in the import and export of the foreign trade in many foreign trade enterprises as full-time staff .The foreign trade business enterprises which have a number of large volumes may be equipped with import and panies, but they are lack of the real persons of ability. It is extremely disproportionate between that and the booming of the economy of the foreign trade. A lack of qualified professionals will seriously affect the rapid and sustainable development of the foreign trade. English majors still have a golden future
in the development of the society. Therefore, it is imperative to the course setting for English Major.
Curriculum is the case with the development of munity. It es a reflection of political and
