Abstract: Endovascular stent implantation can rebuild stenotic vessels, make sufficient blood supply in the brain, and effective prevent the occurrence of cerebral ischemia and cerebral infarction. This implantation is characterized by small wound, safety and plications, and is considered a new method of treating carotid artery stenosis. However, restenosis following endovascular stent implantation still affects long-term es of interventional therapy. Stent implantation injures vessel wall, activate series of healing process, which is the main reason of inducing restenosis of the stent. Inflammatory reaction plays an important role in atherosclerotic formation.
