Abstract: an prolapse is traditionally treated by the vaginal hysterectomy with the repair of anterior and posterior vaginal wall, which may induce a high recurrence rate. To enhance the therapeutic effect, biomaterial patch has been widely applied to repair and reconstruct pelvic tissues. Currently, pelvic reconstruction cannot repair the injured tissues, but it also yields to tissue replacement and regeneration by means of various supports.
