摘  要水利建设是关系着国计民生的重要工作,GIS技术的不断发展使其在水利行业的应用也越来越深入。ArcGIS Server是ESRI公司所推崇的技术领先、功能强大的下一代GIS平台,目前在国内鲜有提及,资料贫乏。本文介绍了成功运用ArcGIS ,并对该系统所涉及的体系结构、技术难点等作了重点说明。北京市水资源基础信息管理系统的实现为GIS技术的发展提供了更广阔的前景。

Abstract : Water conservancy project is all important to the national economy and the people's livelihood. The technology of GIS has found an increasingly wide utilization in water resources field.
