The woodcutter's son Tyltyl and daughter Mytyl dreamt that one fairy ask them to find blue bird to cure her granddaughter. They went to all places but came back empty-handed.
早晨他们从梦中醒来,邻居来为生病的女儿讨蒂蒂儿最喜欢的那只斑鸠,蒂蒂儿爽快地答应了,这时发现斑鸠正是遍寻不得的青鸟。生病的小姑娘一见青鸟立刻恢复了健康,但不慎让青鸟飞走了。
In the morning they woke up from the dream, the neighbour asked Tyl for his favourite dove to cure her sick daughter. Tyl agreed to find the dove was just the blue bird. The girl saw the bird and recovered immediately, but accidentally the bird flew away.
蒂蒂儿走到台前对观众说:如果谁找到了那只青鸟,请他还回来。
In the end, Tyl said to the audience, If you find the blue bird, ask him e back.
