PURPOSE目的
The set up of Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) committee aims to assist management to: (a) prevent employee and contractor injuries, (b) reduce the environmental footprint caused by our operations, and (c) to fulfill local regulatory requirement (if any). An important element of sustaining excellent EHS performance is a high level of employee engagement. A well-run mittee provides an important two-munication channel for management to collect feedback from front line staff, jointly establish new improvement actions, and municate new EHS requirements to staff.
建立EHS委员会的目的是为了协助管理层做到:(a)预防员工或分包商的伤害事故;(b)减少公司运营产生的环境影响和碳足迹;(c)满足当地法规的要求。持续卓越的EHS绩效中有一个很重要的因素即员工的高度参与。一个运转良好的EHS委员会可以提供重要的、双向交流的渠道,这使得管理层能够收集到来自一线员工的反馈、向员工传达和沟通新的EHS要求,并共同采取新的改善行动。
