Abstract : This paper introduces a new design method of MP3 player based on MCU. PHILIPS′ s low voltage, low power
consumption microprocessor -LPC932A1, is a high -speed microcontroller used as control the SD card as songs storage
medium. The use of VS1003B chips for audio decoding and playback, which is pany of VLSL′s (Finland)prestigious high-
speed DSP chips, makes it has high performance, portable and low-cost advantages. Therefore, it achieves the separations between
MP3 player paly part and the part of storage, which access the mass storage MP3 player purpose.
