About the Editors
C. Addison Stone, PhD, is Professor of Educational Studies in the School of Education at the
University of Michigan. Prior to joining the Michigan faculty, Dr. Stone was Professor and
Head of the Learning Disabilities Program, Department munication Sciences and Dis-
orders, at Northwestern University. He received his PhD in developmental psychology from
the University of Chicago. Dr. Stone’s research interests center on cognitive and language de-
velopment in children wi
