城市空间演变是城市在内外动力诸因素综合作用下的地域空间变化是一个长
期复杂的动态化的过程本文详细阐述了湖北现代大中城市在不同时期的宏观社
会经济背景条件下空间形态的变化及造成这种变化的各种动力因素与作用机制
探讨了湖北城市空间演变动力机制的优化措施
本文首先明确研究范畴主旨意义以及研究方法框架对国内外相关理论
成果进行了综述
其次研究湖北现代大中城市空间演变方式在回顾建国以来湖北大中城市发展
进程的基础上归纳不同时期的城市发展特点和社会经济背景评价湖北城市发展
现状并与全国中部沿海地区的城市发展进行了比较总结城市空间结构不同
类型全面阐述城市空间格局形成的过程及演变特征重点研究大城市及中等城市

As the core subject of urban geography and urban planning, the study of urban spatial
evolution and its motive mechanism is continously concerned by academic circles. At
present Chinese urbanization develops at high speed , and owing to the differences of
economy standard and industry model of various places, the urbanization courses of each
district are not identical with the same way, and their urban spatial evolutions and its
motive mechanisms are also different. Hubei Province is in the central section of China, its
urbanization courses and the question which faced with at present has representativeness
in the central section of China, and same particularity. From the analysising of the urban
spatial evolution and its motive mechanism of modern big-and-middle urban in Hubei
Province, this article analyses the questions of modern big-and-middle urban deceloping
in Hubei Province, and inquires into their development model, and puts forward the
optimization suggestion of the spatial evolution motive mechanism.
The spatial evolution is the change of region space under the synthetical effects of all
