It’s a long time ago now that we started life in Albert Square.
I won’t say how long because it might give one of the
EastEnders answers away later in the quiz book! All I will say
is that, as an actor, the three years I spent on the BBC soap
were some of the most enjoyable of my career: great writing,
a really good cast and a fantastic character to play, ‘Lofty’.
None of us knew then how essful EastEnders would be.
But we got our answer pretty quickly. It seemed like no time
at all before we were getting 20 million people at a time
tuning in to find out what happened next. I even remember
