摘要
城市居住街区的内部公共空间是城市公共空间系统的重要组成部分,是街区
居民展开日常公共生活的空间场所。传统居住街区作为一种特殊的城市居住街区
类型,其内部公共空间除了具有一般的活动空间、交通联系空间、绿化生态空间
等功能外,其中所承载的传统生活方式及其对应的空间物质形态特征,如肌理、
结构、场所、景观等,赋予传统居住街区内部公共空间特有的文化价值和潜在的
经济价值。而另一方面,当前我国城市传统居住街区内部公共空间也有其突出的
问题,如活动空间不足、环境质量较差、公用设施不全等,阻碍了居民生活质量
的提高。
当前,我国旧城改造工作正广泛开展,其中不乏大量传统居住街区更新项目。
在正确的原则指导下,采取适当的策略、运用巧妙的方法对传统居住街区内部公
共空间进行更新,摒弃、改变消极的方面,保留、发展积极的方面,就可能实现
其在社会、经济、文化、生态等多方面、多层次上的综合价值。制定、归纳出传
统居住街区内部公共空间更新的原则、策略、方法,正是本文的写作主旨。
论文在较深入研究传统居住街区内部公共空间物质形态特征的基础上,分析
了表象特征下的影响因素,根据这些因素的发展趋势和要求来推导街区内部公共
空间更新的原则和策略,并指导空间物质形态的更新设计,从而使更新建立在尊
重历史并适应今天的需求、保护和发展相结合的正确基石上。
论文的主体部分分为五章:
第一章提出了传统居住街区内部公共空间更新这一研究主题,并对相关概
念进行了界定,明确了研究范围,选择了研究方法,制定了研究工作框架。
第二和第三章对相关的城市公共空间和城市更新的理论和实践作了概述,并
阐明了它们与传统居住街区内部公共空间及其更新的关系。
第四章从历史和地域的角度研究了我国传统居住街区内部公共空间的物质形
态特征,分析了其背后的影响因素。
第五章分析了当前我国传统居住街区内部公共空间更新的背景和更新的本
质——实现街区内部公共空间的综合价值,在此基础上提出更新的原则、整体模
式选择、空间设计对策和保障对策。

ABSTRACT
The public space inside urban residential blocks is a important part of urban public
space system. It is the place where residents get along with their lives. Traditional
residential block is a special type of urban residential block. The public space inside it
has mon functions such as activity space, communicating space and green space.
In addition, the character of it’s physical form such as texture, structure, place and sight,
as well as the traditional living model give the public space special cultural value and
the potential economic value. But in our country currently, the public space inside urban
residential block also has many problems, for example, lack of activity space and public
facilities, bad environmental quality, and so on. These problems have obstructed the
improvement of people’s living quality.
Currently, the renewals of old cities in China are progressing abroad. Among them
there are many projects about traditional residential blocks. If we follow right principles,
adopt proper strategies and use smart technique
