TEST OBJECTIVES
The objectives of these Test Procedures are:
Check the operation of each crane.
Check the operation of the 185 tonne hoisting inverters DMM 001 DL.
Check the operation of the 30 tonne hoisting inverters DMM 002 DL.
Check the operation of the trolley traversing inverters DMM 003 DL.
Check the operation of the crane travel inverters DMM 004 DL.
Check the long travel anti-collision system.
Check the 240V AC auxiliaries supply.
Check the operation of each crane as MASTER crane in TANDEM operation.
Check the operation of the 185 tonne hoisting inverters DMM 001 DL in Tandem operation.
Check the operation of the 30 tonne hoisting inverters DMM 002 DL in Tandem operation.
Check the operation of the trolley traversing inverters DMM 003 DL in Tandem operation.
Check the operation of the crane travel inverters DMM 004 DL in Tandem operation.
INSTRUMENTATION AND TEST EQUIPMENT

SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS
Health and safety
The engineer responsible missioning this System will ensure that all appropriate safety measures specified in the Site Health & Safety Plan are observed prior to and for the duration of missioning and Test Programme. Following the issue of Takeover for Blocking (TOB), all work will be carried out under the auspices of the LANPC SUM Procedures.
Specific Precautions
The following precautions are to be observed during the Preliminary Tests:
Safety helmet and boots are to be worn
Personnel at floor level should be notified that testing is taking place.
WARNING
ALL TESTS MUST BE FULLY CO-ORDINATED WITH BOP SECTION ENGINEERS
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
3 Phase, 380V, 50Hz electrical supply available for the crane.
