Analysis of Health and Safety of Plastic Food Packaging Materials

Abstract: Packaging materials have been found to represent an important source of contamination through the
migration of substances from the packaging materials into foods. In this paper, based on the relevant literatures
published recently in the field of food packaging materials, the harmfulness from additives, printing ink and noxious
materials of resin was analyzed in detail, which would be useful for quality control of plastic food packaging materials
in the furture.
