Exploration on the Pollution of Topsoil Heavy Metal in the

Abstract Measured using surveys and data analysis methods, the urban topsoil in different areas of Beijing were taken
for this study to analyze the present situation of heavy metals ( Cu, Ni, Cr, Cd, Pb, Zn) , and the enrichment situation of
heavy metals were investigated and evaluated. The results showed that: the three metals (Cu, Pb, Cd) all polluted the
topsoil by different degree in Beijing. The contamination of cadmium (Cd) was the most serious. The contamination
situation was different in different zones, especially in the Speedway Area and Heavy Traffic Area. The ranking order of
contamination situation was Speedway Area > Heavy Traffic Area > Industrial
