芬伯格的技术整体观
——一种文化情境中的技术
摘要:我们生活在一个技术的时代,技术已经渗透到我们生活的各个方面,
成为我们生活必不可少的一部分。对技术本质的认识,是各种技术哲学理
论展开的基石,也对我们的技术实践活动产生重要影响。芬伯格作为新一
代法兰克福学派的重要代表,对这个问题进行了全面深入的分析。在对以
往技术本质理论进行批判的基础上,运用社会建构论,提出了他独具特色
的整体论的技术本质观。他认为,技术的本质是由技术标准和社会标准共
同建构的,技术是一种文化情境中的技术。在技术的形成过程中,既沉淀
了不同社会群体的利益,又融合了一定地区、一定历史时期的价值取向。
为了详细阐释技术的设计过程中技术需求和社会需求的关系,芬伯格引入
了“技术编码”概念,用以解释技术形成过程中利益的现实化的过程,该
理论是对技术本质理论的深化与运用。本分将力求对其整体论进行较为完
整、准确的介绍,并基于马克思主义技术观的立场、观点和方法对之进行
评论,指出其成败得失。

Feenberg’s Overall Theory of Technology
——a kind of technology in cultural context
Abstract: We live in an era of has rated every
aspect of our lives and e an indispensable part. Understanding the nature
of technology is the cornerstone of all kinds of technical theories where they
have started and also has an important impact on our practical activities. As an
important representative of the new generation of the Frankfurt School,
Feenberg analysized it in prehensive and in-depth way. He criticized the
nature theory of technology of the past and on the basis of that ,he put
forward his unique overall view of technology about the technical nature with
the theory of socical constructivism. In his view, the essence of technology was
constructed by technical standards and social standards and technology is a kind
of technology in cultural context. In the course of forming technology,it has
precipitated both the interests of different social groups and value orientation of
certain region and certain historical period. In order to explain the relationship
between technical needs and social needs in the process of designing technology
in more detail, Feenberg introduced “technical code”concept to explain the
process of the realization of interests in the course of forming technology and
this theory deepened and utilized the nature theory of technology. This article
