主述位理论对英语写作连贯的启示
———以英语专业四级作文为例

提要:在英文写作中,语言形式衔接与语义连贯是衡量作文质量的关键因素。主述位理论是分析语篇衔接和连贯
的重要途径之一;恰当的主位类型与合适的主位推进会使小句之间的衔接紧凑,信息表达通畅。本文采用文献资料、数
据分析、对比等研究方法,从主述位理论角度分析英语专业四级考生作文的连贯性。文中多重主位与句式主位使用越
多,有效推进模式所占比例越高,文章就越连贯,分数也越高;学生常用的 4种基本推进模式有助于提高英文写作的连贯
性和整体写作水平。

In English writing, cohesion and coherence are the two vital elements to evaluate a position. Cohesion
and coherence of a text are mainly analyzed from theme rheme theory. W ith p roper types of theme and thematic p rogression, the
close cohesion between clauses can be realized and the information can be conveyed logically. Coherence positions of TEM
4 is analyzed from the perspective of theme rheme theory with document analysis, data analysis and contrastive analysis. The
more multip le theme, clausal theme and effective TP patterns are used, the more coherent position is and the higher the
score. Four typ ical TP patterns used by students can make English writing more coherent and higher in quality.
