lugu Lake introduction
Lugu Lake is located in the boundaries of Yongning (永宁)village and yanyuan(盐源) county sichuan province. It has 73 kilometers away from the Ninglang city, 280 kilometers away from Lijiang(丽江) County.
The area of Lugu Lake is more than 50 square kilometers, 2690 meters above sea level, with an average depth of 45 meters, maximum depth of 93 meters, transparent up to 11 meters, 12 meters maximum is the highest lake in Yunnan Province, and also is one of China‘s deepest freshwater are five island and three peninsula (半岛)here.

Long long ago , It was a village ,and a orphans lived here , every day he went to the mountains grazing(放牧) . One day, he fell asleep under a tree on the mountain, and dreamt of a fish told him; my poor son, from now on, you did not have to bring lunch every day ,just cut my body fish to eat . When he wake up, he went to the mountain to search the fish, and finally he found the big fish in a cave, and cut a piece of fish ,made a Delicious lunch .
