Abstract: The Fall of the House of Usher is one of Edgar Allan Poe's famous horror novels, and it embodies Poe's writing theory. It's a kind of abnormal aesthetics which putting beauty into death. Death is written in a forceful hand in Poe's story. Beauty is the flower es out of the ghastly terrorist atmosphere and thrilling of death.

Edgar Allan Poe is one of the famous writers of America in 19th century. As e Bernard Shaw said that there are two great writers in America, they are Edgar Allan Poe and Mark Twain.[1] There are a lot of descriptions about death by sound, colors, emotions and psychology in Poe’s story which brings a forceful senses and heart shock. This kind of es from human’s repelling to death of the subconscious.[2] Death is the ending of life, but in Edgar Allan Poe’s story death is another kind of beauty.
