ON AGRICULTURAL MODERNIZATION
OF THE WESTERN REGIONS
ABSTRACT
Based on the definition of “modern” and “agricultural
modernization” in the theory field, the paper firstly made plete
explanation for “agricultural modernization”, and pointed out agricultural
modernization is a course that unified the synchronic nature and the
diachronic nature of agriculture development. Secondly, stand on the high
degree of the national economic development and the prosperity of the
whole society, the paper argued it’s very important to realize agricultural
modernization, because it’s pletely urgent matter for the society’s
middle-class family construction and an important task of the big
development of the western regions, and it has special political meaning.
Thirdly, according to the Marxist view on practice, the paper analyzed
agriculture development situation of the western regions, and pointed out
some problems existed in the agriculture development of the western
regions. For example, bad agricultural ecosystem and production
condition inadequate agricultural input single industry structure
backward manufacture pattern and lower scientific cultural quality of the
