This booklet is an inlroduClion to Sanskrit. laken from our Beginner's Sanskrit
Course. II contains the following: a brief description ofSri Caitanya Mahaprabhu
and Srila Jiva Gosvami. pronunciation, SrTIa Prabhupada on pronunciation, Pan
One, and Part Two.
Pan One, in seven chapters, explains the basic elements of grammar, based on
Hariniimt1mrra-vyiikara(lU by Srila JiV3 Gosvami. Part Two has instructions and
exercises on conversation. adopted from lhe Rapid Sanskrit Speaking Course of
Dr. . Mishra.
It is important to learn lhe grammar of a language and also la approach it
through conversation. You will be surprised to discover for yourself, how easy
Sanskrit actually is.
