地面数字电视接收机基本 EPG 功能的设计与实现
摘要

电子节目指南(EPG)是数字电视系统的重要组成部分, EPG 系统
的研究对于数字电视前端系统的管理和新生业务的实现都具有十分重要
的意义。
本文简要介绍了 Nucleus Plus 嵌入式操作系统和接收机软件开发
平台的体系结构,详细分析了 EPG 系统中的节目特定信息(PSI)和节
目信息(SI)中的数据结构,并介绍了 EPG 的数据接收流程和解析流程,
最后对设计中的核心技术和难点作了细致深入的分析。
本 EPG 系统的设计严格遵循欧洲 DVB 组织公布的 DVB-T(DVB)标
准,具有可扩展、稳定、易操作和便携等优点,是一款成功的商用软件
系统。
今后几年将是数字电视飞速发展的几年, EPG 系统作为前端与终
端之间的纽带地位是不可动摇的,因此对它的研究也将随着数字电视领
域发展而不断取得阶段性进步和突破。

DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF
STANDARD EPG ON THE
TERRESTRIAL DIGITAL VIDEO RECEIVER

ABSTRACT

Electronic Program Guidance(EPG) is an important part of the digital
television(DTV). It's very significant of EPG system to be used in Front-end
administration and add-on services.
In this paper, the analysis and software architecture of EPG system will
be presented. Firstly, Nucleus OS on which EPG software running, and the
architecture of EPG software will be introduce; Secondly, the structure of the
program specific information(PSI) and servive information(SI) will be
analysed, and the process of data receive and section parse will be described
in detail; Finally, it gives a analysis for the core technology and difficulty in
the key modules.
This EPG system is designed according to the DVT-T standard strictly.
The project has been finished for the practical using with a high level in the

function expansibility, system stability and operation convenience.
It can be predicted that DTV will experience a fast boom in ing
years. The R&D of new operation system will be critical for the DTV
development, and EPG will stand firmly as the tie between the front-end and
the terminals, so it will make a great achievement with the progress of DTV.
