英语专业学生议论文写作中冗余错误分析

摘要
由上个世纪 50 年代对比分析理论的兴起,到 60 年代末错误分析理论的不断发展,
再到 70 年代中介语理论的产生,对于语言学习者错误的研究不断的走向成熟。由于学
习者笔语表现出来的稳定和持续的特性有利于进行数据分析,加之笔语较之口语更能体
现学生学习目标语的能力,近年来对于学习者笔语错误的研究比重明显加大,同时对于
语言教学也起到了很大的监督和促进作用。
冗余是一种普遍的语言现象。在语言研究中,冗余被认为是语言的重要特征。由
于冗余理论源于 20 世纪中期申农的信息论,在语言学领域,对于冗余的研究多集中在
交际和翻译方面。近年来,一些学者将冗余与语言教学联系起来,其研究的重点多放在
口语,听力和阅读的教与学。
本研究选择中国学生英语口笔语语料库中的笔语议论文为研究对象,对中国英语
专业学生议论文中冗余错误进行错误分析。研究中,研究者对学生议论文材料中的冗余
错误进行分类,对不同年级产生的冗余错误的分布特点进行比较,并对限时与不限时给
议论文写作带来的区别等诸多方面进行数据整理和统计。研究显示,1)大部分的冗余
错误出现在语篇层面;2)三年级学生表现出与一年级学生同样多的语法冗余错误;3)
学生不限时完成写作任务时反而出现较限时完成时更多的冗余错误。通过深入的探讨冗
余错误产生的原因,研究者对研究中出现的结果做出了合理的解释,从而总结了对英语
写作教学的启示,并为今后的写作教学提出适当的建议。

Abstract
With the general three-phase development of error studies, which are Contrastive
Analysis in the 1950s, Error Analysis in the 1960s and the theory of Interlanguage in the
1970s, the researches on errors have e more and more mature. Compared with oral
product, learners’ written product has a stable and permanent feature, which makes it possible
to conduct statistic analysis. Besides, written work can relatively reflect learners’ target
language ability. Because of this, the study on learners’ written errors has taken a great
proportion in recent years, and has effectively supervised and facilitated the English teaching.
Redundancy is a universal phenomenon in every language, which is considered as a
vital feature of language. Originated from Shannon’s information theory in the mid-20th
century, the researches on redundancy from the perspective of linguistics are mostly limited in
communication and translation. In recent years, many researchers have connected redundancy
with language teaching. And most of them put the focus on language learning and teaching
from the aspects of speaking, listening and reading.
