文档介绍:Anterior regions of the arm and forearm(-318)Department of the human anatomy attached to the Sichuan University
Muscles
in the ant. compartment of arm
1).biceps brachii
origin : long head—supraglenoid
short head—coracoid process
Inserting into: tuberosity of radius
function: flexes elbow joint and shoulder joint, supinate forearm
2).coracobrachialis
3).brachialis
above the 3 muscles are supplied by musculocutaneous n.
2. Muscles in the ant.
compartment of forearm
1).superficial layer:
brachioradialis (radial N)
pronator teres (pronates forearm)
flexor carpi radialis
palmaris longus
flexor carpi ulnaris(ulnar N)
2).intermedial layer
flexor digitorum superficialis
3).deep layer:
flexor pollicis longus
flexor digitorum profundus (ulnar half part—ulnar n.;radial –median n.)
pronator quadratus
Functions above the muscels:
*flex elbow joint,wrist joint
carpomettacarpal joints,….
*pronate forearm
Main vessels and nerves in the arm
artery
deep brachial a.

Cubital fossa
is bounded
laterally by brachioradialis
medially by pronator teres
superiorly by a line between the medial and lateral epicondyle of humerus
posteriorly by brachialis and supinator,
anteriorly by: deep fascia and aponeurosis of biceps brachii
Cubital fossa
in the fossa
#tendon of biceps brachii
#brachial a.,v.,and median n.
#radial n.
*the brachial divided into ulna a. and radial a., at the level of the neck of radius
*median n. lies in the medial to the brachial a. pierces the pronator teres, then it descends between the flexor digitorum superfisialis and flexor digitorum profundus.
Vessels and nerves in
the ant. compartment of the forearm
vessels and superficial br. of radial
descend between the brachioradialis and flexor carpi radialis.
The radial a. courses around the styloid of radius and reaches to the dorsum of hand.
