Research protocols
• Protocols are written and approved 3 weeks prior to an experiment start date.
• Director determines that:
• The protocol is free of confounding factors.
• The protocol addresses the appropriate research question and is related to the annual research plan.
• Resources are efficiently used to answer the research questions.
• Protocol answers the research question.
• No more than 1-2 employee errors occur due to protocol omissions or mistakes.
