With the advent of this technology, the vision of a munication platform is quickly ing a reality. The convergence of IP-based content works with traditional voice and munications is creating exciting new services in multiple markets. This article, under such an especial background, first introduces the characteristics of IPTV system and the state of development in IPTV testing. Then it takes RollingStream, the IPTV solution of as an example, elaborately analyses the functions which IPTV can realize, the structure of system, the main modules, munication interface between different modules and munication workflow which the modules should follow when certain specific function is realized.
