摘要
城市的发展,必然带来诸如水源缺乏、用地紧张、交通拥挤、能源不足、环境污染等一系列棘手的城市问题,这给城市建设管理和规划提出了更新、更高的要求,而多年来城市建设管理和规划工作面临的一个难题是对现状信息的收集、分析、整理工作相当复杂而繁琐。为适应现代城市发展的客观要求,在城市建设和管理中必须寻求新方法的应用,计算机技术的应用使城市建设管理和规划走上自动化、定量化、科学化的轨道就成了必然。
本文探讨了计算机在城市土地利用、交通控制中以及在其他城市运行中的运用。尤其是分析了城市GIS(Geographic Information System)这种包罗万象的技术,GIS依赖于城市地理空间,由多层类社会、经济技术图文信息组成,以计算机技术为主要支撑工具,人机结合组成的综合信息系统,可广泛应用于城市规划、建设和管理各个领域,从而为政府部门进行城市规划建设决策提供准确的资料、档案、使城市管理从定性逐步走向定量化。
最后说明通过计算机技术建立统一的城市建设管理和规划信息系统,不仅将城市各部门的大量信息统一集成,避免了信息采集的重复性和不一致性,同时,集成的信息又为部门提供共享服务,大大提高了信息的利用率。这表明,计算机技术在城市管理中的应用,对于城市的可持续发展提供了坚强的技术保证,也为落实科学发展观,加快城市的发展,起到了极大的促进作用。

Abstract
It’s certainly that the development of city may cause many serious problems such as the scarcity of water resource and fields、traffic jam、the inefficiency of resources、environment pollution and so on, which require more sufficient constructional management and scheme of cities. At present, one of the obstacles the constructional management and scheme of cities facing is that the gathering, analysis and management of information is plicated plex. In order to meet the requirement of modern city’s development, new methods must be used in city construction and management. So it’s necessary that the applying puter has made the city construction and management e automatic, quantitative and scientific.
This article discusses the applying puter in city fields、 traffic control and other city works, especially the GIS. GIS is made of multi layers social and economic hieroglyph information, depending on city geography puter. plex information system can be widely used in city scheme、construction as well as management, and it can provide gover
nment with precise datum and files to make city construction and scheme, which may change city management to be quantitative.
