中美主流新闻网站关于中国海军亚丁湾护航报道的概念隐喻对

近年来,关于军事报道中的概念隐喻的研究越来越多。这种军事报道常常受到政治立
场和意识形态的影响,而概念隐喻在这其中尤其发挥着主要作用。鉴于此,本研究拟通过
对中美主流新闻网站中对于中国海军亚丁湾护航行动的报道中概念隐喻使用情况的分析,
来揭示概念隐喻在这些语篇中是否得到有效运用,在两种媒体中使用的区别,以及概念隐
喻在表达隐含的政治立场和意识形态时有哪些不同。
本研究中,作者选取了两个中文网站与两个英文网站,它们分别是:新华网、凤凰网、
N)和《纽约时报》网站。在搜集了语篇中的所有隐喻后,从语
义域,批评性话语分析两个方面把它们分类,并进行了对比分析。
研究发现,概念隐喻在新闻报道中都得到了有效的运用,不仅应用广泛,而且绝大多
数都集中在了与中国海军亚丁湾护航行动密切关联的问题上。但中美两国网站上对概念隐
喻的运用却大不相同。美国网站上的新闻报道中的隐喻集中在“海盗”,“索马里海域”,
“中国海军护航行动的反面意见”和“美国及北约在亚丁湾行动中的积极形象”。而中国
网站中的隐喻则强调“中国海军护航行动中的积极方面”以及“对外界消极舆论的反驳”。
更重要的是,本研究还发现中美网站由于对中国海军护航行动不同的态度与理解,在报道
中对概念隐喻的运用能表达不同的政治立场和意识形态。美国网站报道对中国护航行动存
在成见,倾向于用一种冷漠和不友好的口吻,而中国网站则对护航行动表示了极大的赞同
与支持。最后,本研究指出,概念隐喻在宣传中对于积极或消极形象的构建起着巨大的作
用。希望本研究可以给中国新闻网站在对类似军事行动进行报道时提供一些新的启示。

Abstract
Recent years witnessed a remarkable increase of the analysis of conceptual metaphors in
the military reports. Such reports are often influenced by political stance and ideology. In
particular, the conceptual metaphor plays a major role in achieving the effect. In light of this,
this research intends to discover how conceptual metaphors are used in both Chinese and
American mainstream news websites’ news about Chinese Navy’s escorting operation in Aden
Gulf, thus exposing whether conceptual metaphors are effectively used, what kind of
differences there may be and how they differ in munication of the political stance and
ideology.
The study chose two Chinese and two American news websites, namely and
in Chinese, N and Newyorktimes. All the metaphors found were gathered
and classified into the relevant categories in terms of the semantic domain, and a critical
analysis and parison of the conceptual metaphors were made.
