Concept
Any medicinal herb that can expels wind and removes dampness in order to wind-damp,
is known as removing
wind-damp medicinal.
Properties and Efficacies
Most are pungent and bitter in flavor. They can remove wind-damp from the muscles meridians and collaterals, tendons and bones, and joints.
Some of them also have the functions of dispersing cold, relieving pain,relaxing and activating the tendon,
and strengthening tendons and bones.
They are indicated for wind-damp Bi-syndrome, which is manifested as painful limbs,malfunction of joints,spasm of tendons,numbness and heaviness,as well as,idity and weakness of lower limbs.
