Our Goal Today Is to Discuss How the Economy Has
Changed and What You Should Do About It
Specific Objectives for Today
ƒ Provide IBM’s evolving perspective on the Economy: where we have been,
where we are, and where we are going.
ƒ Give you a framework for thinking about the drivers, realities, and implications of what
we call “Act II” of the Economy.
ƒ Start a dialog with you about what panies’ e-business priorities should be in
2002 and beyond.
