经济增长减少贫困了吗:以宁夏农村地区为例的实证分析
摘要:经济增长是贫困减缓的主要动力,但是不同的经济增长对贫困减少的效应不同。经济增长中的高度的不平等有可能使穷人陷入贫困的循环,从而对贫困减少造成不利影响,这也会影响经济增长。本文主要是以贫困理论出发,通过宁夏统计年鉴中的数据,利用Lorenz 曲线,建立模型根据FGT贫困指数及其分解分析经济增长、收入分配贫困变动的影响关系,对此分析论证。

Is it effective that economic growth reduces poverty?
——Evidence from Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region
Abstract:Regarding the e distribution,and poverty reduction, which can be studied and researched from different angles, in this paper, we only try to find out how the e distribution and growing inequality influence the poverty reduction. A model based on the data from National Bureau of Statistics of Ningxia and Lorenz curves is built to help our study. The FGT poverty index and its position are applied as well in this paper. The conclusion we drew is: the major force to reduce poverty is economic growth from 1985 to 2005 in china. However, the positive effects of poverty reduction by economic growth are counteracted by the increasing parts of e inequality due to the deterioration of e in rural areas.
