The market system under the principle, survival of the fittest, makes more and more products out of the “lists". Facing with the shrinking products developmen t, we must find the effective methods which have more advantages to help the life force of products to continue. Michael Porter said petitive advantages ca n be embodied in those three aspects:target concentration 、inimitableness and the low cost. First of all, this thesis analyses the ente petitiveness, advantages over product competition, product development and the relati onships in between. petitiveness mainly embodied in petitive advantages, However,the timeliness, difference and innovation of Product development are the best wa ys to embody petitive advantage of products.. These expositions are the theoretical basis for the part of petitive advantages analysis on mobile phone development design. How to get petitive advantages in handset development and design period is the central part of the research. under p eting background, by classificating mobile phone development types and analyzing the essential competing points in technological process,we can gain the program Plan and know design is the the p etitive them,we choose the design as the main way to achieve the advantages petition.
