FIDIC Contract C onditions FIDIC Contract Conditions issued bythe (Civil Engineering mittee) refer tostandard conditions of contract for Works ofCivil Engineering Construction designed for use ininternational projects. Uptonow FIDIC has published four editions ofFIDIC Contract Conditions. The First Edition In1957 the International Federation ofConsulting Engineers (FIDIC) published for the first time aform ofstandard conditions ofcontract for works ofcivil engineering construction especially designed for use in international projects. Uptothat time there were no editions which had been specifically prepared togovern international contract. The second edition added aPart III tothe first edition. This Part III was drafted to provide particular changes tothe General conditions when the document was tobeused for dredging and Land reclamation contracts. The Third Edition Acomplete revision ofFIDIC contract conditions was made in 1977.
