Wandering Between the Romance and the Reality
——On Harry Potter’s Literary Resources
Abstract:The series novel “Harry Potter” was created by English woman writer and it is published in the turn of the contains the rich mythical factor, the witchcraft ponent and the folk cultural factor. It has inherited England literature traditions, such as the Greek Mythology and the ancient celtic culture. In addition to the romatic elements of western traditional cultureI, all kinds of problems of modern western society were reflected in the we can say that it was a literature work, which has fantastic property melting with tradition and modern, reality and fantasy. This work has attracted children and the grown-up reader from various countries because of its literary property and the ideological nature. It has raised the reading upsurge in work and has formed a new literature phenomenon. The thesis will take the seven books as the objects of research and It explores the literary rescources of the novel series.
The paper is divided into four parts. Introduction presents a brief biography of the author J. K. Rowling and a brief introduction of Harry Potter series as well as the critical one discusses the romantic elements of the novel,including Greek mytholigy and the antient celtic two concentrates on the reality of British society,including feminist ideas, racial discrimination,inequality of different classes,obsession of hierarchy and Anti-Anthropocentrism. Rowling's books express her dissatisfaction with the inequality in the real word and she tries to write for the real equality, balance and harmony of the whole world. Conclusion summarizes the thesis and draws a conclusion that one of the most important reason for Harry Potter's popularity is t
