Based on analyzing paring thebasic principles and traitsofthedifferent methods of limiting short circuit current,also researching the mathematical model,application characteristics,usability and effect,thepaper discusses thedifferent ways as awhole tolimitthefaultcurrent on thedifferent stand thispaper,an optimization algorithm by prehensive evaluation on the model ofmulti-step prehensive evaluation,the fuzzy behavioral indicator and membership degree indicator are researched,for the optimization objective of economy,security and reliabilitypower grid operation,an evaluation methodology for allocating optimal short circuit current limiting strategies in power systems is presented. Finally,the object puting and analysis ofthisarticleis tothe North China power grid intheprogramming level thecalculation and analysis on various methods tolimit short-circuit current oftheNorth China power鲥d,three fessible short—circuit current limiting strategies are the evaluation methodology forallocating optimal short circuit current limiting strategies thatis based on themodel ofmulti—step prehensive evaluation,the evaluation methodology datamaprepository the priority prehensive evaluation and definite optimize feasibility ofthemethod proposed isverified by the simulation resultsofNorth China power grid and proved itseffectiveness.
