1. Introduction 简介

This proposal is for the supply of Meta’s VistaWeld laser seam tracking system for ID and OD submerged
arc welding on spiral pipe mills in China.

Use of the system provides major benefits for both quality and productivity. These include:

The major benefit of the system is improved weld quality resulting from the highly accurate automatic
tracking system. This runs continuously during welding and ensures that the welding electrodes are
always in the correct place in the joint. As a result, weld bead placement is much more accurate than is
