Effect of Suspension Therapy on Iliopsoas Spasm in Children with Cerebral Palsy/CHEN Caixia, LIANG Yongchao. //Chinese and Foreign Medical Research, 2020, 18(10): -145
[Abstract] Objective: To observe the effect of suspension therapy on iliopsoas spasm in children with cerebral palsy. Method: A total of 100 cases of children with cerebral palsy from August 2018 to August 2019 were randomly divided into the conventional rehabilitation therapy group (n=50), and the suspension treatment technology group (n=50) which used the suspension treatment technology based on the conventional rehabilitation treatment. The hip flexion angles, GMFM-88 scores, MAS scores and clinical effects of the two groups were statistically analyzed. Result: The reduction of hip flexion angle, the increase of GMFM-88 score and the decrease of MAS score of the suspension treatment technology group were significantly higher than those of the conventional rehabilitation therapy group (P<). The total effective rate was % (48/50) in the suspension treatment technology group, which was higher than % (39/50) in the conventional rehabilitation therapy group (P<). Conclusion: Suspension therapy can effectively relieve iliopsoas spasm in children with cerebral palsy.
