A. 表示现在（说话瞬间）正在进行或发生的动作
now look listen
现在他们正在打篮球。
They are playing basketball now.
听，她正在唱英语歌。
Listen！She is singing an English song.
看 ，她在跳舞。
Look! She is dancing.
B. 当前一段时间 内的活动或现阶段正在进行的动作
this week these days
这些天妈妈在做衣服.
My mother is making clothes these days.
这周，我在读书.
I am reading a book this week.
c. 现在进行时还可以表示将来
但只限于arrive、go、come、leave、begin、fly等词
下周我将要离开去北京。
I’m leaving for Beijing next week.
明天我们将要到达洛阳
We're arriving to Luoyang tomorrow.
