Basic conceptions of STATICS
Definition:A group of forces which act on the same body
ClassificationCoplanar Force System (平面力系) the acting line of every force is located in the same planeNoncoplanar Force System (空间力系)--------------------------------------------------------------------Concurrent Force System (汇交力系)Parallel Force System(平行力系)General Force System (一般力系)See the sketch of every force system in blackboard

2、Conception of Equilibrium
Definition:According to the inertial frame, a particle or a body is kept in the status of rest or continue to move with constant velocity in a straight line.

Basic conceptions of STATICS
3、Conception of Force System in Equilibrium
Definition:If the effects of every force in a force system can be counteracted, so that the particle or the rigid body can be kept in the equilibrium status or without changing its motion status, the Force system is in equilibrium.
EquilibrantRelative to the other forces in the same force system in Equilibrium, each force can be called equilibrant
See the sketch in blackboard

4、Conception of Equivalent Force System
Definition:Two force systems that produce the same external effects on a rigid body are said to be equivalent.
Resultant Force (合力)If a force is equivalent to a force system, this force can be considered as the Resultant Force of this force ponent force(分力)Each force which posing the resultant force can be considered as ponent Force
