ABSTRACIThemodelsofthecommercialvacuum
interrupterarrangementswithsinglebreakortriplebreaksin vacuuminterrupterswereplacedinserieswiththreedifferent lightningimpulsevoltage(LIV).Comparedwiththesingle breakvacuuminterrupter,underthesametotalgaplength,the voltagedistributionindifferentcollocations,thebreakdown voltageimprovementfactor,andbreakdownstatisticalproperty
differentcollocationsleadtodifferentvoltagedistribution characteristicsstronglyinfluencethebreakdownvoltage . Thestatisticalresultsshowthatthetriplebreaksvacuum interruptersinserieshavethelowerbreakdownprobability apreliminarystudythattheexperimentalresultsdoconfirm withtheprevioustheoreticalstudies.
