本次设计的是JS500混凝土搅拌机的搅拌系统。其中JS500混凝土搅拌机是强制式卧轴混凝土搅拌机中的一种，强制式混凝土搅拌机不仅能搅拌干硬性混凝土，而且能搅拌轻骨料混凝土，能使混凝土达到强烈的搅拌作用，搅拌非常均匀，生产率高，质量好，成本低。它是目前国内较为新型的搅拌机，整机结构紧凑、外型美观。搅拌装置作为该机型的核心部分，直接影响着整机的混凝土搅拌质量和效率。根据双卧轴搅拌机的结构特点，分析了搅拌装置的结构特点，确定了搅拌系统设计方案，并完成搅拌筒、搅拌轴以及搅拌叶片的设计。
首先，通过计算确定搅拌筒的外形尺寸，确定端板的的结构，选择加强筋。然后，确立搅拌装置的尺寸并计算搅拌功率，接着校核轴和键。最后设计轴端密封装置及其零件并校核轴承寿命。
