USB Dedicated Charging Port Controller
General Description Features
The uP7102 is a USB dedicated charging port (DCP) Operating Voltage from to
controller, used for the charging of mobile phones and Automatic Selection of D+/D- Mode for an
tablets. The uP7102 provides various charge modes. These Attached Device
charge modes allow the host device to actively select
between Dedicated Charging Port (DCP), Charging D+/D- Divider Mode and
Downstream Port (CDP), or Standard Downstream Port D+/D- Mode
(SDP). It also integrates auto-detect feature that supports
D+/D- Shorted Mode (BC )
both DCP schemes for Battery Charging Specification (BC
) and the Divider Mode without the need for outside user Dual USB Port Controller
interaction. The uP7102 is available in a space-saving SOT23 - 6L Package
SOT23 - 6L package.
