The Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS)工作场所危险品信息系统
Provides information about hazardous materials used in the workplace提供工作场所使用的危险品的信息
Under WHMIS, employees have the right to receive information about each controlled product they use – its identity, hazards, and safety ,使用者有权了解每个受控产品的特性、危害性和安全警示
The goal of WHMIS is to reduce injury and disease municating specific health and safety information about controlled products so that the information can be used to reduce exposure to hazardous materials WHMIS的目的是通过对受控产品有关健康和安全方面的信息的交流,减少危险品的暴露,从而减少使用者受到伤害和患疾
