The ECB applies a special strategy to address the financial crisis. The actual financial crisis shows that financial integration is important for a stable economic development in Europe, but has also exposed the inherent contradictions and problems of the European ary Union (EMU). The main problems are the autonomy of the ECB, the ary policy autonomy of the EMU member states, as well as their structural differences. This article attempts to analyze the ECB ′s countermeasures to deal with the financial crisis and explore the challenges and opportunities to the European financial integration.
